I inherited a property in the name of a distant relative who has no family and came to this old rental apartment building. When I open the room where the landlord is located deep in the top floor, I see a complete set of surveillance equipment, as well as a large number of data documents and handwritten notes. Looking through these records, I realized that my relatives had been doing spiritual

research on hypnosis and brainwashing for decades, and had used the tenants as experimental subjects to observe and record the results of brainwashing and spiritual transformation. It was like a dream-like treasure trove, and the dark, dark side of the heart followed suit.

It starts up in non-English with no hint of where you go to change the language, so it’s really easy to accidentally start the game and miss the setup dialog that explains what the heck your evil plans actually are. (I mean you can figure it out fairly easily, but still.) After said setup, it’s slightly easier to figure out how to change the language, but you still kind of have to guess which setup option it is.

The English translation is really bad. Like, borderline incomprehensible (or outright incomprehensible in some cases). Which makes the already barebones explanation of how the hypnotizing minigame works kind of useless, other than letting you know that it involves the WASD and Space keys. Again, you can figure it out, it’s just aggravating that you have to do it in spite of the game text as opposed to with help from the game text.
