I would like to recommend this game. It has all of the hallmarks of the Knights of Pen and Paper series that I love (interesting writing, beautifully animated graphics), but the game is really hampered by the tedious grinding that the early game has consisted of. It seems like the enemies are significantly overtuned (a level 2 enemy in any new area is a threat to wipe a whole party that is 3x its level) and there are mechanics that just do not improve the game and serve to make it more annoying (why do you only role a saving throw on each debuff once?

Anything stacking a debuff like silence will make you permanently unable to use skills as you can only get rid of 1 instance of silence PER TURN). Really disappointed this new version is just endless grinding without payoff. Hoping this improves. game needs a balancing patch and to fix a few bugs, aside from that I’ve enjoyed the game play and art style. also not sure if it was the same for everyone but not having the option for multiple save files and not able to customise your starting team was a let down for me.
